Pandora Radio and The Music Genome Project

Pandora Radio is a free online radio.  Pandora users can write a key word or an artist name and get results that are related to their search. 

Pandora Radio uses the Music Genome Project, a huge collection of songs and music elements which are analysed in order to help connect search words with the appropriate musical results.

    You can read about how their models match songs to each other on my blog. It really is quite an interesting solution to classifying music. Pandora has done an amazing thing in helping people discover new music.

    I love Pandora Internet Radio and listen to it all the time. Why? Because it is free, and it is almost like it knows what I want to hear!
